World Peace

World peace: a fantastical delusion, a noble ideal, an unlikely possibility, or the greatest endeavour of humanity? The description that someone chooses may reveal more about them than world peace itself, however, for those who died in the numerous wars, genocides, and terrorist attacks in history, and for those who have experienced abuse, and torture, they would all conclude that peace is far more preferable to violence, and therefore the latter description may be the most fitting. Not only is peace provably universally preferable to violence in multiple ways, but it logically follows that the more peace, the better, and therefore world peace should be the ideal end goal for all of humanity.
Peace is always preferable to conflict, chaos and war, whether between nations, within a society, within a family, and even within an individual’s mind. The pursuit of greater levels of social homeostasis, equilibrium, balance and harmony should be at the top of all of our priorities, as it will lead to better outcomes in terms of health, happiness, and productively for all inhabitants of the earth. The question is: how and is it even possible?
