8) Jocko Motivation “GOOD” (From Jocko Podcast) –

9) LOTR The Two Towers – The Tales That Really Mattered… –

One of my favourite scenes from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy which encapsulates the heart of the story.

Frodo: “I can’t do this Sam.”

Sam: “I know. It’s all wrong. By rights we shouldn’t even be here. But we are. It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy. How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn’t. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.”

Frodo: “What are we holding on to, Sam?”

Sam: “That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it’s worth fighting for.”

10) Zeitgeist Ending –

The ending from ‘Zeitgeist: The Movie (2007)’

Best quotes

00:11 “The whole system that we live in drills into us that we’re powerless, that we’re weak, that our society is evil, that it’s crowded, et cetera and so forth. It’s all a big fat lie. We are powerful, beautiful, extraordinary. There is no reason why we cannot understand who we truly are, where we are going. There is no reason why the average individual cannot be fully empowered. We are incredibly powerful beings.”

0:44 “Now I think I spent 30 years of my life, in the first 30 trying to become something. I want to become good at things, I want to become good at tennis, and want to become good at school and grades. And everything I kind of viewed in that perspective. I’m not okay the way I am but if I got good at things. I realized I had to the game wrong; the game was to find out what I already was.”

2:42 “The old appeals to racial, sexual, and religious chauvinism, to rabid nationalist fervor are beginning not to work. A new consciousness is developing which sees the earth as a single organism and recognizes that an organism at war with itself is doomed.”

Bonus Quotes

“Thank God for challenges to test my skills and strength. Thank God for problems otherwise life would be too simple and dull. Thank God for critics and haters who inspire me to become even better.” –

“The cavalry aren’t coming, because it’s you, and you’re already here.” –

“When times are the most difficult, you’re closer to either a breakthrough or becoming a better version of yourself than any other time.”
